WELCOME

Welcome to my website. It records my journey into composing classical music.

I have had music pop into my head all my life. Classical music touched me more than other music, but music from other genres also appeals to me. It was not before I turned 70 that the idea of composing classical music came to me. I found some software to help me with the music notation. It seems that you are never too old to start over and do something exciting! As I write this I am getting closer to 82 years of age and I still love playing around with musical ideas!

I do hope that this journey is far from over and look forward to continue to discover the new “landscape” that is ahead for me. Apart from showing you some of my music I have also documented the observations that came to mind for me along the way. In my comments, such as on music theory I do enjoy being a bit outrageous, but let me assure you it is not my intention to offend anybody.

 I hope my friends and family will enjoy my music but also would be very happy if this will lead me to make new friends and gain feedback to help me widen my horizons.
